Pune: On the occasion of Army Day 2017, a blood donation camp was organised by Military Hospital (CTC) Pune, on Saturday. There was an enthusiastic response to the camp and a large number of serving personnel from various units in Pune voluntarily donated blood on the occasion. The programme started at 9 am and continued till 1 pm. All the donors were screened by a prelim medical examination of BP, height, weight and other relevant tests as per the protocol. The camp not only helps to educate people but also further motivated them to give blood in future. One officer, one junior commissioned officer (JCO), 51 other ranks, five civilians and one family donated blood.
