Want to watch your favourite movie stars up close? IFFI's 'Red Carpet & Gala Premieres' segment does just that, and is all set to introduce a selection of films to its audience this year.

1. KADAK SINGH (Hindi)

Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the film revolves around AK Srivastava (Pankaj Tripathi) uncovering a complex case despite battling with retrograde amnesia.

2. GANDHI TALKS (Silent)

Exploring the depths of capitalism, racism and society at large, this film features prominent actors like Vijay Sethupathi and Aditi Rao Hydari among others, with music scores by A R Rahman.

3. AE WATAN... MERE WATAN (Hindi)

Based on the 1942 Quit India Movement, the film follows a young girl who became important to India's freedom struggle. With a special showcase, there'll be a conversation between Karan Johar and Sara Ali Khan at IFFI.

4. FARREY (Hindi)

Directed by Soumendra Padhi, Farrey takes you on a thrilling journey of high-school drama, cheating and more. The film will introduce young talents like Alizeh Agnihotri (Salman Khan's niece).

5. DEAR JASSI (Punjabi)

This film has already won the 2023 TIFF Platform Award at its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. Directed by Tarsem Singh, the film depicts the true story of a couple yearning to be together.
