SAO TOME CHAPEL

The São Tomé Chapel is located opposite the Head Post Office, in Panjim, and is over 200-years-old.

PEDRO FERNANDES & CO

A wide range of musical instruments are on sale at this little store, which is one of the oldest commercial establishments in the locality, having opened its doors in 1928.

ALELUIA MENEZES & SONS

Apart from selling paints, tools and a variety of hardware, this store, founded in 1943, also provides key-making services. So, if you ever find yourself in need of a duplicate key, this is the place to visit!

Now functioning as a cosmetic store, this decades-old establishment was a medical store before it got a makeover of its own.

DOWN THE ROAD

A discotheque, named 'Lido', operated from this premises in the early 90s. Today, it houses 'Down the Road,' a well-known pub and bistro.

DAYANAND (BHAUSAHEB) BANDODKAR

A life-sized statue of Dayanand (Bhausaheb) Bandodkar stands close to the Old Secretariat building. Bandodkar was the first chief minister of the Union Territory of Goa, Daman & Diu, and was elected through a democratic process.
