Recently, a unique luncheon was witnessed at the inhouse Saipe restaurant at the Hilton Goa Resort in Saipem, Candolim.

The event, titled, 'Poushvaer' - a culinary journey from Kashmir to Goa', was a showcase of Kashmiri Pandit cuisine.

MAGIC IN THE KITCHEN

.. and was enthusiastically prepared by celebrated Kashmiri Pandit chefs, Rahul Wali and Sunil Mattoo.

THE GOAL

Both chefs came together to create awareness and put Kashmiri Pandit cuisine on the map.

AN ESSENTIAL

Keeping up with Kashmiri tradition, the meal began with a hot glass of aromatic Kashmiri Kahwa tea.

THE BIG FAT THAAL

And, as for the big meal, the thaal was a simple, yet nutritious meal, with no fancy garnish and the feeling of eating a home-cooked meal.

PLENTY FOR ALL

While the Maharaaz thaal consisted of non-veg Kashmiri cuisine, the Mahariyn thaal was curated for the vegetarian lovers, of course, not forgetting the buffet spread.
