Shri Laxminarasimha Sangodd was held on Tripurari Poornima in Goa.
Hundreds of devotees took part in this unique celebration of Sangodd.
It was held at Shri Laxminarasimha Temple, Veling, Ponda, Goa.
The palanquin carrying the deity was beautifully decorated with flowers and taken around the temple in a procession.
Sangodd is basically the platform that is created by tying together two canoes.
The deity is then placed in the sangodd and taken around the temple lake.
It is a spectacular sight to watch the beautifully-lit diyas.
Fireworks are lit from the temple tower which is indeed a beautiful view.
