INTRICATE ARCHES

Arches are common architectural features in churches, but in this one, they bear distinct floral motifs and other patterns. It’s the kind of detail you might miss, unless you look closely.

TIMELESS STROKES

Walls tell stories and, in this case, that's particularly true. You find red murals in the Kaavi art style across walls of this church. The murals beneath the whitewashed walls came to light during restoration.

SILENT WITNESS

In addition to its two chapels, the church houses an old pulpit, probably once used by priests to preach. It stands as a graceful reminder of the past.

DIVINE LIGHT

The church also features high windows near the roof that allow natural light to pour in. The light highlights textures and patterns, thus enhancing the quiet grandeur of the church.
