WALK FOR THE VIEW

Start off at the Mandovi riverfront promenade where you’ll enjoy a clear view of the Reis Magos fort across the river, and if you’re lucky spot a dolphin.

GET THAT KICKFLIP KICK

One end of the promenade brings you to a skateboard park, a popular evening hang-out. The other end leads you to a lighthouse.

WALK & SHOP

Opposite a car park of the promenade is a large FabIndia outlet that will tempt the shopper in you.

TIMELESS BEAUTIES

Back on the main thoroughfare, turn right into the road that leads to the Marriott hotel, and you’ll spot two vintage cars on display: a 1921 Citroen Type A, and a 1921 Fiat 501.

GARDEN GLORY

Before you get back to the main road, turn right to find a secret residential garden with gazebos and benches where you can get your Zen on.

DIVINE STOP

On the main road towards Miramar circle, you’ll see a small blue cross, often garlanded with marigolds, that also marks the local bus-stop.

CUT THE PLASTIC

Next to Miramar circle is the Plastic Palu, a larger-than-life sculpture to highlight the severe impact of plastic pollution on marine life.

UNITED THEY STAND

Miramar circle has the ‘Unity’ statue by artist Vishnu Cuncolikar, erected in 1972 on the same spot where an imposing statue of Afonso de Albuquerque once stood during Portuguese rule.

STEP INTO THE PAST

Also next to the circle is the landmark Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, which has been active since the 1920s.

End your walk on Miramar beach where you can rest on one of the benches while listening to the sound of the crashing waves.
