Alibaug to Goa cycling: From rolling hills to coastal cliffs

The Youth Hostels Association of India organised its first Alibaug to Goa cycling expedition.

The 560 km long route covered picturesque beaches, villages, hillsides and greenery around coastal Maharashtra.

The riders took off from Alibaug and after around 11 days reached Panjim, Goa's capital city.

The cycling tour was accompanied by field staff and experienced tour leaders.

The minimum age to participate in this tour was 12 years.

More than 40 riders cycled through scenic seaside villages with endless stretches overlooking the sea.

All those who participated were experienced riders.

Besides the cycling , the riders also experienced off-the-saddle adventures like watersports and also got to taste different cuisines.
