Celebrating this delicious yellow fruit in Goa, Caculo Mall (Panjim) in association with Goencho festakar, Marius Fernandes, and Gwendolyn de Ornelas, organised a two-day, zero-waste Mango Fest.

The festival was held at Caculo Mall, in Panjim, on April 29 and 30, 2023.

The yummy festival hosted a spectacle of local vendors selling a variety of mangoes, food made of mango, plants, Goan snacks, art and more.

Promoting inclusivity, the Mango Fest also featured artistry by Persons with Disability (PwD) who displayed their art work at the venue.

Not just this, the festival also included workshops on mango grafting, mollam-making, mango pickles, mango sasanv, and basic candle-making with mango fragrance.

Not leaving the voiceless behind, there was also an awareness and sensitisation session about love and care towards animals.

Celebrating in the true Goan spirit, the festival saw the performance of Konkani songs by Konkani global icon award winner, Angelo Fernandes.
