Last week, Goa’s Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant, and IT Minister, Rohan Khaunte, announced that 75 Wi-Fi hotspots would be set up in Goa’s hinterland.
On the occasion, 10 out of 75 Wi-Fi hotspots, across five constituencies in Goa, were activated.
Wi-Fi hotspots have been activated in Sanquelim, Porvorim, Taleigao, Benaulim and Bicholim, and are available free of cost.
Locations in Sanquelim: Community Health Centre, Ravindra Bhavan & KTC Bus Stand.
Locations in Porvorim: Art Park & Joggers Park.
Locations in Bicholim: Shivaji Statue, Mamlatdar Office & Latambarcem Panchayat.
Locations in Taleigao: Taleigao Panchayat, Shankarwadi Temple.
Locations in Benaulim/Colva: GTDC Residency.
