Bridges that matter for Goa

ATAL SETU

This is the third-longest cable-stayed bridge in India and it was officially opened on February 5, 2019. It connects the capital city of Goa, Panjim, to North Goa.

ZUARI BRIDGE

The new 8-lane Zuari bridge is also the second-largest cable-stayed bridge in India, first being Mumbai's Bandra Worli sea link. It connects Tiswadi taluka to Salcete taluka in South Goa.

GALGIBAGA BRIDGE

The Galgibaga-Mashem bridge in Canacona offers some of the most panoramic views of the Arabian sea on one side and backwaters on the other.

PONTE DE LINHARES

Ponte de Linhares connects Ribandar to Panjim and runs along the flood plains of the Mandovi river. The bridge is often said to have been the longest in the world at 3.2 km when it was completed in 1634.

BAMBOLIM TO AGASSAIM BYPASS BRIDGE

This bridge significantly reduces the distance from Bambolim to Agassaim.

ALDONA BRIDGE

The Aldona Bridge is Goa's first cable-stayed suspension bridge. One can enjoy some of the most beautiful views of the Mapusa river and mangroves from this bridge.

AMONA BRIDGE

The bridge is 510 meters in length and is made of a structural steel truss with reinforced cement concrete slab. It connects Khandola and Amona across the river Mandovi.

ASSOLNA TO CAVELOSSIM BRIDGE

This 620-metre long bridge which connects Cavelossim and Assolna allows one to soak in some of the most panoramic views of river Sal.

SIOLIM BRIDGE

This bridge connects Siolim to the northernmost villages of Goa and some of the well-known beaches like Morjim, Mandrem, Arambol and Keri.
