Chief Minister Pramod Sawant informed the Goa Assembly that only 33 per cent of the Smart city works worth Rs 335 crore were completed so far.

CM'S GUARANTEE

The CM told the House Panjim will start looking like a Smart City once all projects are completed hundred per cent.

INQUIRY IS ON

Conceding that there were issues in implementation of projects in the initial phases, the CM said that a complaint has been filed with the Vigilance and Police against erstwhile Smart City CO and that an inquiry is going on.

LET'S WAIT AND SEE

The smart claims will be known in the next monsoon season when the capital city will be declared smart with all its works completed.
