Cavatina's tempting menu for the Coldplay team in Goa

COLDPLAY AT CAVATINA

Celebrity chef Avinash Martins welcomed members of Coldplay to his restaurant, Cavatina, in Benaulim, where the famed musicians were treated to a specially curated selection of Goan dishes with a modern twist. Here’s a glimpse.

LET'S START!

The starters included a variety of small bites, such as a rich Crab Bisque as well as a vegetarian option made from mushrooms, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.

GOAN KOYLOLEO

Also on the menu were Koyloleo (Goan rice pancakes) stuffed with prawns and a flavourful vegetable caldinha. Keyloleo, typically made from ground rice and toddy, added a traditional touch to the meal.

CAFREAL BASKETS

Another innovative starter was called Nest in the Woods and featured Cafreal Chicken, while the vegetarian version was a delightful twist with Cafreal Edamame.

MEAT GALOUTI

The melt-in-your-mouth Galouti Kebabs also made their way to the table, bringing with them the rich essence of their flavorful ingredients.

CAVATINA CIGARS

The Cavatina Cigars contained a delicious mixture of prawns and chorizo, while the vegetarian version was a tasty Spanakopita made of tambdi bhaji and cashew butter.

Patra de Goa featured chonak fish cooked in a fragrant green masala, wrapped in banana leaves, and served with a selection of mouth-watering accompaniments.

MIT & MIREM MEAT

Oozing with flavour, this dish is made of meat, seasoned with just salt and pepper, and gets its name from the Konkani words for these basic seasonings.

TIME FOR DESSERT

Among the fine desserts on offer, the Coldplay team enjoyed a selection of treats, including Raw Honey Flan, Baked Jaggery Cheesecake, and a decadent Chocolate and Cherry Marquise.
