These lemon-inspired bowls match Shruti Bolar Mascarenhas' warm personality. She was inspired to become a studio potter because of her love of earthenware.

Terracotta will be light in weight when made correctly, says Shruti of these bottles which keep water cool during hot summers.

POTTERY IN THE MAKING

Shruti reveals that it is normal to lose a few pieces in the process of firing. They either break or develop hairline cracks. So in tune is she with her craft, that it is rare for her to suffer much loss at all.
