There’s a village in Sattari where, during the monsoon, you can see multiple seasonal waterfalls cascading down the hills in a breathtaking spectacle that feels almost surreal.

Hivre, a small village tucked in the north-eastern foothills of Chorla Ghat, is surrounded by towering hills and turns into a monsoon dream with every passing raincloud.

WATERFALL WONDER

From Hivre village, you can spot numerous waterfalls. One of them is the Hivrem waterfall, which is accessible via a semi-moderate trek of around 6 to 7 km through scenic forest trails.

COUNTRY ROAD

Hivre is located at a distance of 53 km from Panjim. So, it's best to leave early if you are visiting the village. The journey is a treat in itself, with lush greenery lining the entire route.
