Reis Magos Fort is a beautiful fort located on the banks of river Mandovi, facing the city of Panjim.

HISTORY

It was a military outpost built in 1493, and then built as a fort in 1551 and was finally extended into a full fort by 1707.

FOR THE ROYALTY

The fort was initially used by the Portuguese to house Viceroys and other dignitaries who would arrive from Portugal.
