At the Core Block in Aguad, families found the names of their late relatives, who did time there as freedom fighters during Goa’s struggle for liberation.

Members of the Maharashtra-based Goa Mukti Swatantrya Sainik group visited the site, honouring their ancestors, once imprisoned here, and experiencing a powerful piece of Goa’s living history.
