The start of the event saw Goa's singing sensation Sonia Shirshat unleashing her melody on the venue.

Indian playback singer Swaroop Khan too put on an amazing show. He is one of the singers who sang the National Games anthem.

Music composer and singer Mukesh Ghatwal was also at his best rocking the stage and setting the venue afire.

Goa's neighbour, Maharashtra, the winner of the Games, won the Raja Bhalindra Singh trophy for bagging the highest number of medals.

THE CHAMPION

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar presented the best female athlete trophy to Sanyukta Prasen Kale of Maharashtra.

And the best male athlete trophy went to swimmer Srihari Nataraj (8 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze) of Karnataka.
