On the last day of Carnival 2023, Curtorim village, in Salcete, was witness to a colourful Carnival parade.
The Carnival parade kicked off in style at 4.30 pm.
There were few floats this year, but, in keeping with the Carnival spirit, they were colourful and creative.
The performers, attired in vibrant costumes, danced in the streets.
Maina village was the starting point of the parade, while the Curtorim market square was the last stop.
Most of the performers at the parade were from the villages of Maina and Curtorim, and even little ones participated in the festivities.
This was the 14th edition of the Curtorim Carnival parade.
The king of festivities for the parade was Michael Fernandes.
The show stopper at the parade was the 'Groot' float which was unique and breath-taking.
