CELEBRATING MILLETS

The Goa Culinary Club organised an event called Heritage Harvest, focusing on millets. The theme of the event was 'Millets: The small but powerful grain.'

DITCH THE JUNK

The purpose of this event was to raise awareness about the advantages of eating millets for health and to demonstrate how they can be combined to create delicious and nutritious accompaniments for everyday meals.

MILLET MAGIC

A diverse range of millet-based dishes was showcased by chefs from The Fern Kadamba, The Yellow House, Karma Kitchen, Hilton Goa Resort, Chef Peter's Kitchen, Soul Chef, and White Plate by Chef Jason.

STREET FOOD STYLE TO DESSERTS

There were a variety of options available, including dishes like Bisi Bele Bhaat, Foxtail Millet Pulao, Kaapi Millet cake, millet soups, and buckwheat momos.

TREAT FOR EVERYONE

To enhance the atmosphere and make the evening more enjoyable, a range of games and live music were included. This assisted the young participants in adapting to the idea and tastes of the powerful grain.

LEARN TO MAKE IT

The stalls were set up with special recipe booklets which could help people to prepare these dishes at home.

MASTERCLASSES

The chefs also organised masterclasses in vegan and bakery products, salad making and tasting.
