Goa cashew nuts have become the 10th product of the state to get the coveted Geographical Indication (GI) tag.

The nine products that previously received GI tag are feni, Khola chilli, Harmal chilli, Myndoli banana, Agassaim brinjal, sat-shirancho bhendo, khaje, bebinca and Mancurad mango.

The GI tag is valid till October 25, 2030.
