IFFI's 'Market Screenings' is a showcase of global film

The 16^th edition of Market Screenings (formerly known as Industry Screenings) is being held at the Goa Marriott Resort & Spa, India, from Nov 20 – 24.

Market Screenings provides a space for filmmakers to showcase their film to sales agents, distributors, producers and festival programmers from around the world.

The delegates include international sales agents, distributors, producers, aggregators, festival programmers and buyers. 

For this year's edition of Film Bazaar, the Market Screenings section received the highest number of applications, with 45 films and 50 screening slots booked.

In order to enhance and facilitate the essence of Market Screenings, an online viewing of the films will also be available to the delegates.

The overwhelming number of applications includes feature films, shorts and documentary films.

All these films are in diverse languages such as Chhattisgarhi, English, Hindi, Malayalam, Marathi, Russian, Tamil and Yoruba. 

This year's edition has an even more diverse range of representations in terms of the language, geography, gender, stories and more.
