The shop selling roses nearby did brisk business as fans of eminent India writer and a celebrated citizen of Mussoorie, Ruskin Bond, were eager to gift him flowers on his 90th birthday.

Children and elders waited patiently to greet Bond at Cambridge Book Depot which has been a popular spot for celebrating the writer's birthday for many years.

Many came to the hill station to meet their beloved author, who hardly comes out of his Ivy Cottage in Landour, Mussoorie, because of old age and health reasons.
