Goa's KTCL buses set to take the coloured route from April 1

Being colour-coded is always fun, and Goa's KTCL's buses have just joined the trend!

COLOUR SCHEME

The buses are scheduled to start running on April 1, 2024. They have been assigned different colours, such as blue, yellow, red, green, indigo, violet, and orange, based on their respective routes.

AT YOUR SERVICE

The bus service provided as part of the Smart City Mission includes large new electric buses with 49 seats, diesel-powered minibuses with 30 seats, electrical minibuses with 26 seats, electrical micro buses with 14 seats, and electric buggies with 11 seats.

HOW MUCH?

The proposed fares for the bus travel have been set at Rs 10 and Rs 20, depending on whether the bus is equipped with air conditioning or not.

WHERE TO?

The bus service will provide limited stops or offer direct routes from one stop to the next.

THE FLEET

Under this scheme, a group of up to 60 vehicles will be in operation at the same time. At any given moment, 44 vehicles will be actively travelling, completing approximately 500 trips per day.
