A drop of super glue, a few stitches and a whole set of skills is all the Goan mochi uses to make your shoes look as good as the day you bought them.

NUSTEKAR (FISHERMEN)

A Goan would never be a Goan without his daily dose of fish and for that reason while saying his grace, he occasionally says thanks to the nustekars.

... and the fishermen's bountiful catch would never reach you without these women (nustekan) who, come rain or shine, go door to door selling fish.
