A variety of local produce and 'purument' items are on sale at the 2-day fest.
'Purument Fest' has been organised by Tanishka Women’s Network of Gomantak, and is being held at the Dr F Luis Gomes Garden, Campal, on May 12 &13.
Shoppers can buy a variety of locally made items such as:
1. Masalas, chivda, laddoos and other sweets.
2. Coconut, coconut oil, local fruits, kokum, etc.
3. An array of colourful, decorative door hangings, called torans are available.
4. A variety of local drinks and squashes are on sale at the 'Purument Fest', organised by Tanishka Women’s Network of Gomantak.
