BETWEEN FLAGS

In view of the rising temperatures, Goa's Drishti Marine has issued a summer advisory with simple ways to stay safe on a hot, sunny day at the beach. Firstly, always swim between the flags marked in red and yellow as these indicate moderate surf and currents.

MISSING KID?

If a child goes missing, do not panic. Alert a lifesaver immediately.

STAY AFLOAT

If you encounter a rip current while swimming, it is best to keep afloat, and alert the lifesaver on duty.

SOS

If you see anyone in difficulty, do not attempt to rescue them if you lack lifesaving skills. Instead, rush to the nearest lifesaver or approach the lifesaving tower for assistance.
