WHERE, WHEN

The 'Indian Artisan Bazaar', a 10-day art, craft, handloom and lifestyle exhibition began on January 19, 2024 at Bal Bhavan, Campal, Panjim.

FINE ART

With over 80 stalls, selling a galaxy of beautiful, handmade items, the exhibition is a showcase of some of the finest art and craft in the country.

TOP BRASS

Intricately carved brass items -- from deities to showpieces -- are on sale at one of the stalls.

FLOORED!

Pretty, handcrafted floor mats, such as these, can add a vibrant touch to any room.

WOODWORKS

Wooden spoons -- ladles, serving spoons, icecream spoons and more -- some plain and others carved make for practical and eco-friendly kitchen essentials.

Handloom products from several regions of India give an insight into the rich and unique traditions.

The exhibition features artisanal ware from various parts of the country -- Delhi, Manipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Odisha, Assam, Kashmir, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and Hubli to name a few -- and is well worth a visit.
