VINTAGE GLORY

The Goa Vintage & Classic Vehicles Club celebrated Goa's car heritage in a spectacular display at the Chicalim Joggers Park for the fourth year. The event was held in association with the Directorate of Transport.

HERITAGE DISPLAY

This annual display of timeless cars on December 19, held to mark Goa Liberation Day, showcased around 126 cars from India, with approximately 70 from Goa.

ICONIC GEMS

Visitors were treated to a diverse selection of cars, including Morris, Bentley, Austin, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz, and not forgetting India's post-Independence symbol, Ambassador.

The display of vehicles, many still in pristine condition, highlighted the global influence and timeless appeal of vintage cars.

LEGENDS

Among the star attractions were the oldest of the bunch from the 1930s through the 1990s, reinforcing the Panjim-based club's commitment to preserving the legacy of these iconic cars.

THE BEST PART

The highlight of the event was a 10-km drive to the scenic Baina Bay and back to the joggers park in Chicalim.

The drive allowed the guests to halt on the Baina flyover to enjoy Goa's natural beauty. And for enthusiasts, it was an opportunity to witness the elegance and power of the vintage vehicles as they cruised along the scenic route.
