GOA'S UNIQUE EPIPHANY

In Cansaulim, Cuelim and Arossim (South Goa), the feast of the Three Kings is celebrated in a unique way -- 3 young boys, from these villages, on horseback, enact the biblical roles of the 3 Magi, the Wise Men from the East.

BENEATH THE CROWN

The locals adore and, at times, even fall at the feet of these 'kings', which has resulted in a tradition, where the crown is placed on people’s heads as a sign of blessing.
