India gets its first museum podcast as Goa's Museum of Christian Art turns 29

The Museum of Christian Art, Old Goa, celebrated its 29th anniversary on January 23, 2023, and a function was held to mark the occasion.

Vice President of the museum, Nascimento de Souza; and Trustee of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Dr Gilherme d'Oliveira Martins, were amonG those who spoke on the occasion.

His eminence Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao also addressed the gathering.

The podcast was launched by his eminence Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao, Archbishop of Goa & Daman and President of the CCBI.

The making of the podcast was presented by its co-creator Kevin Fernandes on January 22, 2023 in the Church of Santa Monica, Old Goa.

Vidya Dehejia's India, a story through 100 Objects was also launched on the occasion. Dehejia is an eminent author and recipient of several awards, including the prestigious Padma Bhushan.
