Into waste management? ‘Amchi Panaji Huddle’ and CCP hear you!

‘Amchi Panaji Huddle’, organised by ComePostVille in association with the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP), was held on January 26, 2023 at the CCP premises.

The main objective of the huddle was to recognize the work done by various citizens, institutions, commercial establishments, safai karmacharis etc towards improving waste management in the city.

Certificates were also given to housing societies which have been diligently following waste segregation techniques.

Commissioner of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP), Clen Madeira, spoke on the occasion.

Heena Shah, who writes regularly for GT Digital on the subject of sustainability and zero waste, was among those who were felicitated.

Larissa Rodrigues, from the Goa College of Home Science, Campal, presented the findings of the college study on the state of public toilets in Panjim.
