Goa is not just ideal for holidaying. You can also work better here. This is the truth being discovered by digital nomads, who are constantly on the move as they work remotely through the internet.

DIGITAL EXPLORERS

Like the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama in the 15th century, these travellers-cum-workers, who are perennially looking out for a destination to make it their next workplace, seem to have discovered Goa all over again.

SUNSHINE & SAND

Long stretches of beaches, idyllic villages, vibrant nightlife and friendly locals have won them over so much that they don't mind a bit of slow and unstable internet speed and frequent power outages.

HOMELY FEEL

Goa’s distinct vibe, emanating from its exotic mix of Indo-Portuguese culture, has always struck a chord with outsiders – be it domestic or international visitors – making it easy for them to feel instantly at home here.

PERFECT ENERGISER

Its natural beauty, which is still untouched in many places, also works as a stress releaser, which helps digital nomads to recharge and enhance their productivity.

MAKING IT WORK

Sensing opportunity, lately many entrepreneurs have set up co-working places to offer better office infrastructure like fast broadband connections, meeting and conference rooms and other such amenities.

EASY ON THE POCKET

For the foreign digital nomads, cost of living in Goa is much lower than its Western counterparts. In 2020, the Digital Nomad World estimated the budget for a month’s stay in Goa at $750 (around Rs 65,000).

UNDER THE GOAN SUN

All this has got the digital nomads hooked on to this tropical paradise on the western coast of India, compelling them to bask in the Goan sun as they work from its distant shores.
