TURTLE RUN

What sets Galgibaga beach apart is that it is one of the locations in Goa chosen by Olive Ridley turtles to lay their eggs. Olive Ridleys are recognised as vulnerable by the IUCN Red list.

TRASH TALK

With few visitors frequenting this beach, it's sands are free of carelessly-strewn trash. Of course, it also helps that there are garbage bins at various points on the beach.

TALL TALES

When you are on this beach, you might forget that you are in Goa because there are no coconut trees around. Instead, you will find plenty of tall casuarina trees, gently whistling in the wind.
