1) NIGHTLIFE

North Goa is mostly known for its beach-side parties and nightclubs, and also not forgetting the EDM festivals.

2) SOUTH SOLITUDE

However, once in South Goa, one can find peace and solitude on its white sandy beaches which are less crowded compared to the North.

3) FLEA MARKETS

North Goa is known for its flea markets in places like Anjuna, Arpora and Baga.

4) HIPPIE MARKETS

The flea markets can trace their origin to the hippies, who flocked to Goa in the late 60s and early 70s and revealed it to the world.

Most of the forts are located in the North. The known ones are Aguada and Reis Magos forts, which are popular tourist attractions.
