This was possible after the State government opened the contentious stretch of 2.75 km between Seraulim and Benaulim on Monday, December 23, 2024.

LINGERING CONCERN
People of Benaulim and Seraulim had run a sustained agitation for construction of this 2.5 km stretch on stilts, drawing attention to the recurring flooding issues in the region.
