MAPUSA FEAST

The Feast of Our Lady of Miracles, popularly known as 'Milagres Saibinn', was celebrated on Monday, April 15, 2024 at St Jerome's Church in Mapusa. And, devotees continue to pour into the church for several days after the feast to venerate Milagres Saibinn.

SWEET ESSENTIALS

In Goa, stalls selling khajem can be seen at every fair connected with a church feast. Khajem, also known as kaddio boddio is a local sweet preparation which recently received a GI tag.

SHOP FOR LESS

Every year, vendors from various states sell their goods at the fair, and that includes casual clothing, evening wear, fashion accessories and more. People flock to these stalls to get their hands on these items, which are sold at pocket-friendly prices.

SAY IT WITH FLOWERS

Dried flower arrangements and handmade flowers such as these always sell like hot cakes. So, if you're interested, be sure to pop into the fair in the early days.
