On December 14, 2023, the Pilerne Thursday Heritage Market hosted 'Jingle in the Air', a Christmas-themed event, bringing together local vendors offering a wide array of Christmas treats and handicrafts.

SNACK ATTACK

Mouth-watering local delicacies such as croquettes, chops, rissois, rolls and more enticed shoppers back for more throughout the evening.

FARE & LOVELY

Luiza's Homemade Creations featured delectable and sweet delights such as Christmas cakes, brownies and traditional Goan fare.

PRETTY PETALS

One of the stalls which was quite popular with visitors was the one selling pretty seasonal plants, which included gerberas, espicia and Christmas poinsettias.

SERVICE WITH A SMILE

Culinary expert, Chef Peter Fernandes, was all smiles as he served irresistible, freshly-prepared piping hot snacks at the one-day event.

LOCAL FLAVOUR

Millets, fruits, rice, kokum, toddy vinegar, local produce and Goan culinary essentials were aplenty at the heritage market.

DECK THE HALLS

Numerous stalls beckoned visitors with their eye-catching Christmas displays of scented candles, gloves, ornaments and more.

MORE, THE MERRIER

The event, which was held on the St John the Baptist Church grounds, Pilerne, drew visitors from near and far.
