AIR PASSENGER TRAFFIC

Every year, passenger traffic at Goa’s airports amounts to thousands, and that includes, both, tourists as well as Goans.  

TWO AIRPORTS

Goa’s 2 airports – at Dabolim and Mopa – operate both domestic as well as international flights. On the international routes, direct flights operate between Goa and these destinations…

MUSCAT (OMAN)

Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, flies several times a week to Goa.

SHARJAH (UAE)

Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates, is connected to Goa via non-stop flights, operated by Air Arabia and Air India Express.

DUBAI (UAE)

Emirati carrier, Air Arabia, has been operating direct flights between Goa and Dubai for over a decade.

BAHRAIN

Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air, began operating four flights per week between Bahrain and Goa from this year (2023).

DOHA (QATAR)

Goa is one of 13 destinations in India to which the Arab airline, Qatar Airways, operates direct flights from Doha.

UNITED KINGDOM

In July 2023, Air India began operating flights to Gatwick Airport, in the UK, making it the first airline to fly to an international destination from Mopa Airport.
