A TIME TO CELEBRATE

Following a month of fasting during Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr is celebrated across the State, marking the conclusion of the holy month with festive cheer and joy.

OFFERING NAMAZ

This is central to the Eid celebrations, with Muslims coming together at mosques to offer namaz (which means 'prayers').

WARM WISHES

Exchanging the greeting, "Eid Mubarak", is followed by heartfelt hugs among friends and family.

TRADITION OF EIDI

This is also the time when we see the tradition of Eidi -- gifts given by adults to children during the Eid celebrations, encouraging the custom of giving from an early age.
