SCHOOL INITIATIVE

Trinity Primary School, in Curtorim, organised a pop-up for self-help groups, farmers and artisans to sell their products on the school’s open day.

VOCAL FOR LOCAL

The pop-up took place on Saturday at the school premises, with vendors from across Margao setting up stalls.

TREASURE TROVE

The stalls offered a variety of items, from pre-loved books and handmade crochet pieces to creative shawls, kurtas and household essentials like garlic grinders and knives.

GENTLE ON THE SKIN

A vendor from Majorda offered handmade items including soaps, organic kajals and lip balms, all made from skin-friendly ingredients like cocoa butter.

FARM FRESH

Local farmers offered a range of saplings, including fruit-bearing plants like breadfruit and lemons, as well as homegrown spices like pepper.

FOR THE KIDS

Broadway Bookstore, Panjim, had organised a special book drive, wherein a wide selection of children's books were on sale.
