PERFECT EVENING

Siolkars left no stone unturned in celebrating World Goa Day. The event was conceptualised and organised by Country Cousins entertainment and Ellison Fernandes at RiverBanks, Siolim. It was a perfect evening to be out with with friends and family.

FANCY DRESS

Supported by their parents, kids in the age group of 3 to 7 years, took part in the fancy dress competition whose theme revolved around Goan culture.

LOCAL FLAIR

A stall selling local Goan items of various sizes and made from clay.

ART EXHIBITION & SALE

An art exhibition-cum-sale had works of well-known cartoonist from Siolim, Alexyz, and other artists on display.

PALM WEAVING WORKSHOP

A coconut palm weaving workshop by Sabina saw people participating with enthusiasm.

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

At the prize distribution ceremony, special mementos designed by Alexyz were given away.

GOAN SWEETS

A stall of authentic Goan sweets such as bol, dosh and many more were kept on sale.

GOAN GAMES

FOLK DANCES

A traditional folk-dance performance was showcased by these children who dressed in traditional outfits.

ENTERTAINMENT UNLIMITED

A number of music artists like Carlos (Talking Drums), O'luv, Johnny & Reza and Forefront entertained the crowd. The night ended with music by DJs Melwyn and Rinton.
