Danuska Da Gama
A group art exhibition, titled 'World Meets Goa', is currently underway at Art Chamber-Galeria de Belas Artes, in Calangute, and will continue till January 15.
The exhibition is being curated and presented by artist, and art gallery owner, Onil Hossain from Bremen Germany.
Featuring 19 artists from the world, a visit to the art gallery in Calangute makes for a visual treat for art enthusiasts to comprehend the form and style used by artists.
The participating artists include P Donau Hossain (Germany), Claudia Grötschel (Germany), Claudia Altemeier (Germany) Edith Erhardt (Austria), Elke Bürger (Germany), Daniela Eneidi Pahle (Austria), Beatriz Alemany (Spain) and Regina Mausolf Cataldo (Italy).
Anja Assanoh (Germany), Tamali Das (India), Jinat Rehena (Bangladesh), Cecile Batillat (France), Malo Mario Lorenz (Austria), Pamela Caufeis (Germany), Susan Schölzel (Germany), Sonja Knoop (Germany), Edith Zalai (Romania), Neeharika Donau Hossain (Germany) and Reynaldo K’akachi (Peru) are the other participating artists.
The exhibition features over 40 artworks on canvas in various mediums, including oil and acrylic paint. The approach used by the artists range from realism and super-realism to abstract art.
Renowned Goan artist, Yolanda de Sousa Kammermeier, has been instrumental in coordinating the art exhibition at the gallery, which is incidentally owned by her.
