Goa has recorded nine Covid deaths in the last five days. Two fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths in the coastal state due to Covid-19 has reached 3,332.
On Tuesday, as many as 86 persons tested positive for coronavirus, while two died of the infection in Goa. At least 66 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day, taking the count of recoveries to 1,72,698, and leaving the coastal state with 747 active cases.
20,138 corona tests were performed in five days. 4,256 corona tests were performed on Tuesday. 66 people were healed. There are 747 active corona patients in the state with a recovery rate of 97.70%.
Meanwhile, 10,566 beneficiaries in the state took part in the vaccination on Tuesday. 54,846 people have been vaccinated in the last five days.
So far 19,55,673 people in the state have been vaccinated against Covid-19, of which 12,12,845 have taken the first dose and 7,42,818 have taken both doses.
