Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has asked Waste Management Minister Michael Lobo to fall in line and not issue statements to the media which can embarrass the government and party.
This development comes after Michael Lobo and Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho were engaged in a war of words with each other over the installation of taxi meters. Lobo had issued a statement to the media, saying hat party formed the government for the people and not for Godinho.
In the past, Lobo was also at logger head with Deputy Chief Minister Manohar (Babu) Ajgaonkar and had slammed the Goa Tourism master plan.
Earlier, The BJP leadership had also pulled up Health Minister Vishwajit Rane over his non-cooperation with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and asked Rane to fall in line or face disciplinary action
