Goa could become Gangs of Wassepur: GFP President Vijay Sardesai

He also stated that murder, rape and other crimes are on the rise in Goa and the police should try to curb crime before prosecuting any case.

Bhumiputras have entered Goa  to show pistols to Goans, while the head of the state counts the number of mining trips, Goa could become Gangs of Wasseypur, said former Deputy Chief Minister and Goa Forward Party president Vijay Sardesai on Friday.

Speaking to media persons after inspecting nullah at Murida in Margao, he lashed out at Goa police and said the Goa police has become the spokesperson of the ruling party.

“It was clear that Bhumiputra had reached Goa to show the pistols to the Goan as a desi Katta was found in Calangute. Gun culture will come to Goa when mining and fast money sources increase. The police need to give a proper explanation for this. The Goa police have started making statements like the spokesperson of the ruling party and the police must act as the police,” he said.

He also stated that murder, rape and other crimes are on the rise in Goa and the police should try to curb crime before prosecuting any case.

Attacking the BJP government, Sardesai said BJP is selling Goa as the opposition party are not united. the ruling party has decided to sell Goa as the opposition parties are not united in the state. He also clarified that the Goa Forward Party will continue to expose the anti-Goa and anti-Goan activities of the ruling party.
