Goa government to launch governance at doorstep from September 19

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday said that the state government will launch governance at your doorstep programme from Sunday, September 19, starting from Thivim. constituency in Bardez.

Chief Minister Sawant informed that the main aim of this programme is to solve all the issues related to people. “Public can visit the venue if they have issues related to residence certificate, income certificate, election card, water and electricity connections, toilet issues, DDSSY, ration card, Griha aadhar, partition and mutation issue, agriculture card issue, start-up issue, bank issue or even welfare scheme issue,” said Sawant. 

The first programme will be held at the Sriram Vidyamandir, Colvale. The registration can be done prior to 18 September or even on the spot from morning 10 to evening 5.

Sawant also said that Panchayat along with state administration will try to resolve the issues of the public. He also mentioned that many issues have not been resolved after even being fast-tracked by the government worker.

"Requesting people to take this opportunity and benefits from this programme to resolve all issues and assuring that all their issues will be resolved soon" stated CM Pramod Sawant.

He also appealed to the people to take advantage of this programme. "To solve this problem, the entire administration will be available at the venue, and people should take benefit of this programme," Sawant said.

Officials from various government departments will be available at the spot and will attend to the people.
