Siolim MLA Vinod Palyekar on Wednesday said that Michael Lobo’s wife fighting the upcoming elections from the Siolim constituency doesn’t affect him.
"I still dominate the Siolim constituency, so even if Michael Lobo's wife fights from Siolim herself, it will not affect me at all," the incumbent Siolim MLA told local reporters at Anjuna.
The former minister also inaugurated the 33 kV substation at Anjuna. Savio Almeida, Sarpanch of Anjun Caisuva Panchayat, Stephen, Senior Engineer, Power Department, and Dominic Pereira, President, Local Comunidad, were present also present on the occasion.

Speaking to the media, Palyekar said, “we have implemented various development works in the last four years and the remaining works will be completed from October. A 33 kV power sub-station has been set up at Anjuna to alleviate the power problem permanently.”
Earlier, Science and technology minister Michael Lobo had said that his wife, Sancha Delilah Lobo, has expressed willingness to contest the upcoming 2022 state election on a BJP ticket.
Delilah is currently Sarpanch of Parra and the vice-president of BJP’s Mahila Morcha.
