Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday said that the land which has been taken from SEZ promoters will be made available for setting up Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). He also said that the State government will ensure that 50 per cent of the government procurement is done through local MSMEs.

“We have also launched the Vibrant Goa initiative to attract suitable industries in Goa. My government is also committed to ensure at least 50 per cent of the total government procurement is done from the local MSMEs,” he said.
“The Central as well as the State government have geared up to promote the growth of MSME sector and I assure the MSME sector will respond in playing an important role in achieving 5 trillion economy by 2024,” he said.
