Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) senior leader Ramkrishna ‘Sudin’ Dhavalikar on Thursday announced that his party will contest 24 seats in the forthcoming assembly elections.
He also said that out of 24 seats the names of candidates for 12 constituencies have already been finalised which will be announced by the party's executive committee.
“Regarding remaining 16 seats, the committee will decide whether to support any alliance or independent candidates. The party's taluka wise rath yatra will start from November 4,” he said.
Dhavalikar further said that the current BJP government must introspect instead of claiming to be self-reliant as it is faced with disasters. “Even nature is angry with them. People have not received any financial help,’ he quipped.
